STUDIO ETIQUETTE: 

  • Our Satvana Yoga™ studio is a sacred space for the study of Yoga and communion with God. Please honor the energy and intention of the space.
  • As a courtesy to your teachers and fellow students we ask that you show up for class on time and commit to a full practice from start to finish. Savasana is an integral part of your practice, intended to rejuvenate your body, mind and spirit. Please respect this moment of rest and support our entire community by staying on your mat and refraining from leaving class early. WarriorYoga
  • Be mindful of where you park, please respect our Pleasure Point community.
  • Arrive 15 minutes early to prepare for class.
  • Before and after class, ask questions! Our Yoga Teachers and assistants are here to help you. During class, please refrain from talking.
  • Please turn off your cell phone before entering the studio.
  • Please remove shoes and leave them under the bench by the studio front door.
  • Place personal items in the changing room neatly on the shelves.
  • You will sweat in class! Athletic clothing is recommended and we request that students wear tops and bottoms with modest coverage. Stretchy shorts or pants and a form fitting t-shirt or tank top are ideal for both men and women. Men are welcome to remove their shirts.
  • Refrain from wearing any strong perfume, cologne or lotion.
  • Please line your mat up with the tape marks on the floor. Classes can be crowded, and the marks ensure safe spacing and room for late arrivals. Alignment of our studio space is extremely important for alignment of our bodies during Asana. 
  • Keep the floor clear for the safety of your fellow students.
  • Please leave valuables at home. Satvana Yoga™ is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  • Late arrivals will not be permitted 15 minutes after class has started.
  • Please mention any pre-existing injury or medical condition to the instructor BEFORE class starts.
  • Remember that Savasana is a crucial balancing element of your practice, and it lasts at most 5 minutes.
